The Open Table: Jackson
Each Sunday at 6 pm, The Open Table Jackson uses space in:
The Markay Theater
269 Main St, Jackson, Ohio 45640

Check below for our current schedule and upcoming events.
We gather to hear the divine story and to be reminded how our stories are part of that bigger story. We are sensitive to the triggers that people may have stemming from past religious abuse and trauma. All are invited and celebrated. The table is an image of the community of love that is expressed in our lives.
Gathering
We encourage each other to:
-
Live everyday life with intentional connection.
-
Share our stories
-
See things in their wholeness
-
Express the love we talk about in the world.
-
Recognize the divine connection in everything and everyone.

December Gathering
You are invited to gather with us December 14th at Larosas in Jackson
for dinner. 6 pm. We are celebrating

Book Discussion

You are invited to our next Book Discussion!
Better Ways to Read the Bible: Transforming a Weapon of Harm Into a Tool For Healing by Zach W. Lambert.
This book invites us to approach the Bible with fresh lenses—moving beyond rigid or harmful interpretations that have caused real damage, and leaning instead into readings shaped by compassion, justice, and the radical inclusivity at its heart.
Whether you’ve read the Bible for years, never picked it up, or aren’t even sure you want to, you are invited. If you’re curious about new ways to engage ancient stories that have often been misused, this conversation is for you. We need your voice and your perspective.
We’ll gather to read, reflect, and discuss on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM at The Markay Theater.
This Sunday (11/30) will be an introduction, and we’ll begin diving into the book on 12/7.

We’re looking forward to honest conversation, good questions, and the kind of shared learning that makes The Open Table the real, accepting, and loving community it is.

Real
Accepting
Loving
We get real about our stories, our doubts, our questions, and our struggles. We accept each other and do acts of love in the world.
