Meals in a Bag

In April, The Open Table is coming together to make a tangible difference in our community through a simple but meaningful act of care.

We’ll be donating items to create “Meals in a Bag”—pre-sorted ingredients paired with a recipe, ready for someone to take home and cook a complete meal. These bags offer not just food, but dignity, ease, and nourishment to neighbors who need it most.

Bring your donated items and help assemble the meal bags together. Afterward, the completed bags will be shared with the Mason Community Cupboard, a 24-hour accessible resource where anyone can take what they need, no questions asked.

We will learn more about hunger in our own community and respond with compassion and action.
